Taxi Fabric x Gaurav Ogale- CUTTING | TWENTY CUPS OF TEA AND TWENTY MILLION PIGEONS FOR THE ROAD.
Finding your way through long Bombay signals by conversing with elements you see around, right next to you on the seat cover. The design is a moving storybook with the elements as the characters of the story and the cab driver, Nasimuddin chacha as the protagonist. The migration of lot of hawkers who are from various pockets of the country now making their home in the city of dreams and making their presence so prominent. It’s Nasimuddin chacha’s story; his flamboyance and imagination.
Taxi Fabric, a venture born in 2014 collaborated with artists to do up the interiors of Mumbai’s iconic kaali peeli taxis using bright colours, quirky art and theme-driven designs.
